Toyota Launches ‘El Viaje De Tu Vida’ @ Telemundo.

Toyota Motor Sales (TMS) announced the launch of their nationwide “El Viaje de Tu Vida” (The Journey of Your Life) promotional tour exclusively with Telemundo. The tour will reach Hispanic consumers directly in six of the top U.S. Hispanic markets to promote the new Toyota Matrix and Corolla 2003 models. As part of the tour, a series of TV live and taped spots hosted by hot telenovela stars Paola Rey (“La Baby Sister”) and Manolo Cardona (“Por Que Diablos”) will be broadcast on Telemundo during the first two weeks of June from New York, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

The promotional tour will kick off in New York on June 3rd in NBC’s “Today” show, a program unparalleled in its ratings dominance in the morning news arena, serving as America’s overwhelming favorite for more than six consecutive years. This illustrates the powerful synergy between Telemundo and its new parent company NBC. “El Viaje de Tu Vida” will run through six cities, culminating in Los Angeles on June 14.

Having gained the Hispanic consumer’s confidence and preference, Toyota aims to boost this relationship in all these key markets for the second consecutive year. The multi-million dollar media promotion will feature special reports hosted by the popular stars, highlighting various local sights and points of interest in each city, as well as the outstanding features of Toyota’s 2003 Matrix and Corolla. These will be broadcast on Telemundo’s TV shows “De Mañanita,” “Cotorreando” and “Al Rojo Vivo,” and mun2 television’s “Chat” and “FuZion.” Primetime segments will also air over the 2-week period, and tour highlights, including pictures from each city, will be featured on www.toyota.com/espanol.
