Bryan – VP Sales @ Entravision Radio.

Entravision Communications Corporation (EVC) announced that Eugenio (Gene) Bryan has been named Vice President of Sales for the company’s radio division. Mr. Bryan will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing advertising sales for Entravision’s radio group. He will report to Jeffery Liberman, President of Entravision’s Radio Division and will be based at Entravision’s offices in New York City.

Mr. Bryan joins Entravision from Hispanic Media Sales, Inc., a marketing and sales consultancy group, where he was President since November 1996. While at Hispanic Media, Mr. Bryan consulted media and advertising companies, providing solutions for marketing, sales, programming and staff challenges on a national and international basis, as well as marketing, media and sales performance information.

Mr. Bryan also served as Sales Manager for Caballero Spanish Media (CSM). While at CSM, he oversaw the operations of the New York office with over $10 million in sales and spent a majority of his time focused on developing new business for Spanish Language Radio. From 1987 to 1993 Mr. Bryan was Vice President & General Manager at Katz Communications. There, he was responsible for the development of Katz Hispanic Media where he managed the marketing and research departments at four sales offices. During that time he increased total billing from $10 million in 1987 to $22 million in 1993 and was able to run the operation with a 60% cash flow margin. Mr. Bryan was instrumental in increasing the number of clients that Katz represented, from 5 stations in 1986 to 48 radio stations, 5 radio networks, 9 television stations and 1 television cable network in 1993. From 1993 to 1996 he worked with Spanish Broadcasting’s New York radio stations WXLX, WSKQ, and WPAT as Vice President and General Manager.
