Clear Channel flips Hispanic station in Miami to a Soft AC.

Clear Channel had aggressively moved into the US Hispanic Radio environment. Their ownership of Katz Communications, which represents Univision’s Radio stations nationally under Univision Radio Sales , along with the departure of VP of Programming Alfredo Alonso and difficulty of maintaining underperforming stations in various key US Hispanic Markets has brought forth another market where Clear Channel felt they needed to leave the format.

WMIB-FM / Super X 103.5 will now program a Soft AC format targeting the English listeners.
