HBC Announces Acquisition Of KPXC-FM In Nevada.

Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation announced that it has agreed to acquire KPXC-FM, a Class A radio station licensed to Indian Springs, Nevada, for a cash purchase price of $16 million.
The station holds a construction permit to upgrade to a Class C and upon completion of the upgrade, will broadcast at an equivalent 100 kilowatts on 99.3 MHz. With this acquisition, the Company will own and operate two FM stations and one AM station in Las Vegas, one of the fastest growing Hispanic markets in the United States.
