Hot Off The Net: President’s Address On Latino Broadcasting Company This Saturday — Cinco de Mayo.

Latino Broadcasting Company will broadcast President George W. Bush’s Spanish-language radio address at 10:30 AM, this Saturday, May 5th.

For the first time in history, an American President will address the nation in Spanish on May 5th, also known as “Cinco de Mayo”, a significant Mexican holiday. The President’s address will be followed directly by a two-minute commentary by LBC’s award winning journalist, Jorge Ramos.

“Latino Broadcasting Company is honored to take part in such an historic event”, says LBC President, Tony Hernandez. He adds, “It is wonderful to finally have an American President who not only acknowledges us, but truly dignifies our presence by addressing our community in our native language. This clearly demonstrates the growing influence of our diverse and rapidly growing community, and the current administrations commitment to serving it.”
