Radio Unica Communications Corp. announced the promotion of Isidro Mendiburu to general manager of Radio Unica 1040 AM San Diego. In this capacity, Mendiburu will oversee all operations of Radio Unica’s San Diego station.
Mendiburu has been in the California market for more than 15 years. He has served as local sales manger of Radio Unica 1040 AM San Diego since February 2001. Before joining Radio Unica, he served as a general sales manager for KBIT-TV 28, an independent Spanish Television station in the Bay area. Previously, he served as general sales manager for KDI-TV, KHAS-TV 33 Telemundo, and as general manager for Telemedia Communications, and Producciones Obsidiana.
