Radio Caracol 1260 AM honored in DC.

WSUA – Radio Caracol 1260 AM announced the nomination of top talents Enrique Córdoba, Yoly Cuello, and Eucario Bermudez by Congressman David Rivera, who have received a Certificate of Congressional  Recognition in Washington D.C.

The Certificate of Congressional Recognition acknowledged on Thursday, October 13th successful Hispanic leaders in South Florida for their outstanding and invaluable service to their community. Our talents, among others, had the opportunity to join Congressman David Rivera and other members of Congress in honor and celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

The reception took place at the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs Room in Washington D.C, which then extended to VIP tours of the U.S Capitol, meetings with other members of Congress, and other special activities that were prepared for the recipients throughout the day.

Award Recipient’s programs on Radio Caracol:

“Cita con Caracol” – the program that Enrique Córdoba hosts on Radio Caracol – was created 23 years ago and offers our listeners interviews and commentaries on current culture topics. The program received other awards previously granted by the King of Spain Juan Carlos I and the Government of Chile. Enrique Córdoba is the author of three books of interviews, features and reports: ”Cien voces de América”, “Mi pueblo, el mundo y yo”, and “Te espero en la frontera”.

“New at Noon” – the program hosted by Yoly Cuello where she presents the most current issues in local, national, and international news that affect Hispanics.

“La Voz de la Comunidad” – the weekly program hosted by Eucario Bermudez that looks to help South Florida’s Hispanic community. He is surrounded by a distinguished group of experts and guests who bring an overview of the week’s current events and offers our audience a platform to express their opinions and concerns about their community.
