2013 PREMIOS TVyNOVELAS Awards Show.

The 31st Annual Edition of “Premios TVyNovelas” promises viewers an unforgettable night of glittering entertainment. The gala awards ceremony will air on the Univision Network, from Acapulco, Mexico on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 9 p.m. ET/PT (8 p.m. Central).
 
Hosted by Alan Tacher, co-host of Univision’s hit morning show “Despierta América” (Wake Up America), along with distinguished TV personality Galilea Montijo and famed singer/actress Yuri, the two-hour “Premios TVyNovelas” telecast will feature a veritable who’s who of superstar presenters, including Adriana Louvier, Altair Jarabo, Ana Brenda Contreras, Andrea Legarreta, Ariadne Díaz, Blanca Guerra, Blanca Soto, Chantal Andere, Cristián de la Fuente, Cynthia Klitbo, Daniel Arenas, Danna García, David Zepeda, Diego Amozorrutia, Eduardo Santamarina, Erick Elías, Francisco Gattorno, Gabriel Soto, Ingrid Martz, Jan, Jesús Ochoa, José María Torre, José Ron,  Laura Carmine, Livia Brito, Luz Elena González, Mane de la Parra, Manuel Landeta,  Mariana Seoane, Maribel Guardia, Marjorie de Souza, Mark Tacher, Martha Julia, Mayrín Villanueva, Paul Stanley, Raúl Araiza, Roberto Palazuelos, Salvador Zerboni,  Sofia Castro, Susana González, and Zuria Vega.
 
Some of the biggest names in Spanish-language television are nominated in the different categories. Lucero and Jaime Camil, stars of the top-rated novela “Por Ella Soy Eva” (For Her, I’m Eva), were recently added to the list of nominees for one of the night’s most coveted awards: Best Actress/Actor in a Leading Role.
 
In what promises to be a memorable moment during the glamorous ceremony, Raúl de Molina, co-host of the Univision Network’s top-rated entertainment news and gossip show “El Gordo y La Flaca” (The Scoop and the Skinny) and multiple Emmy winner, will receive the special “20-Year Career Award” in recognition of his two decades of nonstop success as a Spanish-language television personality. Also an accomplished photojournalist and former paparazzo, de Molina has been hosting “El Gordo y La Flaca” since 1998, when the show was created specifically for him and his co-host, Lili Estefan. Prior to that, he appeared in several Univision programs, including “Primer Impacto” (First Impact).
 
Created by the international entertainment magazine TV y Novelas, the “Premios TVyNovelas” awards are bestowed every year to honor the most popular actors, producers, writers, and programs in the Hispanic television industry. The nominees for over 25 different categories including Best Actor/Actress in a Leading Role, Best Antagonist, Best Supporting Actor/Actress, Best Telenovela, Best Series, Best Script or Adaptation, and Best Host are chosen by readers of the magazine; winners are determined by a special panel of judges.
 
For the first time in its 30 year history, the “Premios TVyNovelas” awards show will be simulcast live by Univision in the U.S. and Televisa in Mexico. Over 400 internationally famous celebrities from all areas of Hispanic entertainment are expected to attend the gala event.
