Shinnick – VP Director Of Audience & Programming Analysis @ Univision Network

. Univision Communications announced the appointment of Deborah T. Shinnick to the position of Vice President, Director of Audience and Programming Analysis, effective immediately. Shinnick will be responsible for evaluating current and future audience trends. She will report to Timothy Nichols, Senior Vice President, Network Research, and will be based in New York.

“With eighteen years of media experience in audience analysis, sales promotion and new business development, Deborah brings a wealth of industry knowledge to Univision’s research team,” said Nichols. “We are pleased to offer her this position and look forward to her success at the Company.”

Most recently, from 1993 to 2001, Shinnick was Director, Marketing and Research at ABC, where she was responsible for creating marketing and sales strategies; designing and executing program research; promoting programs for print and on-line media companies; and communicating viewer attitudinal and behavior changes to ABC executives. Previously, Shinnick held various positions at ABC. From 1990 to 1993 she was Associate Director, Audience Research, responsible for supervising the development of market research presentations. From 1986 to 1990, she was Manager, Audience Analysis. From 1984 to 1986, Shinnick served as Supervisor, News & Late Night Research. From 1982 to 1984, she was National Affiliate Research Coordinator, responsible for evaluating affiliate operations, including program clearances, scheduling rationale, and compensation policies. Prior to working at ABC, Shinnick was with Storer Communications, most recently serving as Manager, Sales Research Department. She began her career at Storer Communications in 1977 as a Sales Assistant.
