Grupo Gallegos wins Creative Duties for Coronado Brewing Co.

Grupo Gallegos announced that it has been named creative agency for Coronado Brewing Co., a San Diego-based brewery that continues to define West Coast craft beer. The appointment followed a competitive review.

Grupo Gallegos will be responsible for providing strategic, creative and brand activation services for Coronado Brewing Co., as well as developing go-to-market strategies for new product ventures and initiatives. The agency will be charged with targeting consumers on a national level, especially millennials, who are passionate about craft beers.

Ron and Rick Chapman — who founded Coronado Brewing Co. in 1996 — have been at the forefront of the industry before it was even a trend,” said John Gallegos, Founder & CEO of Grupo Gallegos. “Coronado’s ability to keep its independence and authentic brand voice, yet evolve with consumer demands, is in essence how Grupo Gallegos operates as well.”

Coronado Brewing Co.’s beers are currently sold in 19 states, including California, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, New York, New Jersey and Nevada, as well as internationally. Grupo Gallegos will launch its first work for Coronado Brewing Co. later in the year.
