The Best in Show award was bestowed upon the agency for a commercial entitled “Tribute” for Ram Trucks, which showcases the fact that America was forged by hard work, tenacity and diversity – all the elements which will continue building this country. The spot features a diverse cast of everyday workers from a variety of backgrounds, in a variety of industries, filmed in a variety of settings, all pushing through the harshest of conditions to pay tribute to those who came before them, who also sacrificed to help move this country forward. The piece was filmed by world-renowned director and cinematographer Jeffrey Darling, and featured original music written, performed, recorded and produced by the agency at Houston’s own ZapBoomBang Studios.
Overall, the agency’s spot for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles was widely recognized by the judges, as was the spot for long-standing client Walmart. Walmart’s “Life’s Greatest Hits” also garnered Gold in the Campaign category.
