Don Francisco Boulevard

Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) and the Office of the Mayor of New York will recognize Mario Kreutzberger, better known as “Don Francisco,” with a street co-naming ceremony in New York City.
 
On September 8th, the corner of 168th Street & Broadway will be co-named “Don Francisco Boulevard” for the day in honor of the host and creator of the longest running variety show in television history and one of television’s most successful programs ever, “Sábado Gigante.”
 
New York City Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez will present Mario Kreutzberger with a City Proclamation. Councilman Rodriguez will be joined by UCI executives and other local officials for the special event.   
 
Univision Network’s morning show “Despierta América” (Wake Up America) will air LIVE from New York City and will welcome the audience to be a part of the historical moment celebrating a legendary TV host.
