Quiroz named Chair Of The Board Of Directors of Hispanic Scholarship Fund

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) announced the election of Lisa Garcia Quiroz, Senior Vice President, Time Warner Inc., and President, Time Warner Foundation, as the Chair of the Board of Directors. In addition, the Board also appointed Gene Camarena, President and CEO of La Raza Pizza, Inc., as Vice-Chair, Anthony Salcido, Vice President and Corporate Controller, Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. as Treasurer, and Margarita Flores, formerly Vice President, Community Affairs, Anheuser Busch, as Secretary.

n her current role at Time Warner, Ms. Garcia Quiroz ensures that Time Warner’s investments in people, community and content reflect a leading media company where the best talent thrives and advances, and its content resonates with increasingly diverse global audiences. She previously launched two businesses at Time Inc.: People en Español grew to become the best-selling Hispanic magazine in the United States and Time for Kids won numerous awards for its journalism and storytelling. During her many years of service on the HSF Board of Directors, Ms. Garcia Quiroz has championed access to higher education for Latino students and families across the country.
