Bimbo Bakeries USA is rolling out an on-pack promotion that will plant scratch & win game pieces in Weber’s Enriched Bread bags, backed by out-of-home advertising. The “Drive Away with Weber’s Bread” promotion kicks-off October 1 across all Southern California.

This promotional push for Bimbo’s Weber’s brand, created and executed by Acento Advertising will give away as the grand prize, a brand new 2002 Nissan Altima. Participants may also win free product or receive 30c discount coupons. Bimbo’s objective with this promotional push, running October 1-31, 2001, is to create short-term immediate increase in sales, brand awareness, product trial and repeat purchase among General Market women 18-49. “This promotion is part of an overall marketing push to increase Weber’s consumption across the board,” reports Eduardo Aiza, Marketing Director for Bimbo Bakeries USA. “This promotion will definitely tempt our current and potential consumers to buy more Weber’s enriched bread.”
