As part of a structured succession plan, Premier Euro RSCG announced the appointment of Roberto Ortiz de Paz as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board effective next January 1st. He will continue to hold the position of president of the Agency as well.

"We have always believed in the importance of having a well-structured plan that fosters the continuing growth and advancement of different management generations, and Robert's appointment is proof of this. His professional competence, ample knowledge of the industry gained through his 32 years of experience in Premier - 11 of these as president-guarantees that the mission and foresight that for 37 years have guided our Agency will go on strong", Franco Sotomayor, current CEO of Premier Euro, pointed out.

Sotomayor will now move on to a new position in Miami, Florida, where he will be collaborating with the management team of Euro RSCG Latin America's central offices located in New York. "In my new role, I will be collaborating in business development in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic markets. However, given that Premier Euro RSCG belongs to the Latin America region, I will be able to keep abreast of the local operations", said Sotomayor. For over a decade, Sotomayor was in charge of managing the Hispanic markets for Premier Maldonado & Associates in Miami which allowed him to gain vast experience and knowledge in this area. During this time, and under his management, a number of effective advertising strategies and campaigns were developed for clients such as American Airlines, Church & Dwight (makers of Brillo cleaning sponges and Arm & Hammer), Florida Marlins, MoneyGram and Walgreens, among others.

Also as part of the new succession plan, Fernando Mendoza was appointed Executive Vice President and General Manager as well as member of the Board of Directors. Mendoza, who has been with Premier Euro RSCG for 27 years, is currently Senior Vice President for Account Management.

Sotomayor added that the management from both the local agency as well as Euro RSCG are very pleased with this new structure plan and are confident that under the new leadership Premier Euro RSCG will continue to expand and develop.

Eduardo Plana, Regional President for Euro RSCG Latin America, pointed out that "Puerto Rico is an strategic market for us as it is our springboard for the U.S. Hispanic market and a hub into Latin America and the Caribbean.
