San Pedro Production Launches.

Patricia San Pedro announced that she has formed her own marketing and special projects company, San Pedro Productions, Inc., based in South Florida.

Cuban-born San Pedro brings her unique blend of experience in event production, public relations and television and radio production to her local and international clients, with expertise in the newspaper, airline and recording industries. San Pedro will apply innovation and cutting-edge creativity to growing the businesses, utilizing event planning, public relations, multi-media productions, community connections and communication solutions.

For the past five years, San Pedro was Vice President of Event Marketing and Community Relations at The Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald, responsible for all media relations and community activities including the Silver Knight Awards and Operation Helping Hands. In addition, she managed revenue-producing events like the America’s Conference, the Making Money Conference, and the All Dade & All Broward Athletic Awards. San Pedro Productions will continue to consult with The Herald’s community affairs and event marketing departments on all of their programs. Other San Pedro Production clients include Bon Bini Cargo (Miami & Aruba based freight forwarding company), Nestor Torres (entertainer), the Miami Argentine Film Festival, and Capital Services Investments.

Before joining The Herald, San Pedro was Corporate Communications Manager and key spokesperson for American Airlines. She managed the airline’s communications and community affairs programs throughout 75 cities in Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America.

Prior to joining American, San Pedro was the Public Relations Manager/Special Projects Producer at WTVJ-NBC in Miami, where she earned three Emmy awards for her work. San Pedro’s diverse background also includes positions at Capitol Records, WCIX-TV, WIOD Cox Broadcasting, WKAT radio and Group Five Communications.
