Carlos Conejo, known as the Bilingual Dynamo, has just released his new book, Motivating Hispanic Employees: A Practical Guide to Understanding and Managing Hispanic Employees.
This book deals with effective ways to develop Hispanic employees using culturally relevant methods. This work represents four years of hands-on research and development, and addresses issues such as:
* Overcoming barriers to cross-cultural communication and collaboration
* Helping Hispanic employees overcome the cultural shackles that keep them from contributing and succeeding in an organization
* Customizing the message to appeal to the different types and assimilation levels of Hispanics
* Insight into how Hispanics view themselves and others outside of their community
* The importance of educating Hispanic employees: 46% of the current U.S. Hispanic population DOES NOT have a high school degree and the ramifications to the future economic development of America.
