Cinelatino signs deals with Fox, Universal Studios & Lionsgate Channel.

Cinelatino announced that it has finalized first-time deals with Twentieth Century Fox and Universal Studios and signed a new deal with Lionsgate.

These newly-acquired movies feature today’s most popular and celebrated Latino stars, including Penelope Cruz, Gael Garcia Bernal, Salma Hayek, Antonio Banderas, Ana Claudia Talancon, Sofia Vergara, Wilmer Valderrama, John Leguizamo, Roselyn Sanchez, Catalina Sandino Moreno, among others.

Sample newly-acquired titles include:

o The Motorcycle Diaries: Academy Award-winning story tracing the adventures of Che Guavara on his journey across South America; starring Gael Garcia Bernal and Rodrigo De La Serna.
o Scarface (’83): Classic Golden Globe nominee about a Cuban immigrant who takes over a drug empire while succumbing to greed. Starring Al Pacino, Steven Bauer and Michelle Pfeiffer.
o Carlito’s Way: Golden Globe nominee starring Al Pacino, Sean Penn, Penelope Ann Miller and John Leguizamo about a reformed ex-convict who is torn between his girlfriend and his crooked lawyer.
