Now in its fourth year, actor/comedian John Leguizamo’s official website, ( and Jack Daniel’s are back to present the hottest and largest Latino stand-up comedy series in New York City, the Jack Daniel’s Latino Comedy Series. This summer will again showcase 13 weeks of Latino comedy at the top comedy venues in NYC including Gotham Comedy Club, The World Famous Comic Strip Live, Laugh Lounge and StandUP New York.

The series kicks off with a VIP Havana Casino Night Kickoff Party on Wednesday, June 29th at the Laugh Lounge. The regular line up of shows will begin Thursday, June 30th at Gotham Comedy Club featuring a special performance by Angel Salazar (Chi-Chi from ‘Scarface’) and will continue for 13 weeks with over 20 different Latino comedians. The series will conclude in September with a special VIP event to be held in NYC. “The longest running Latino Comedy series is back and hotter than ever, and I am very excited to be a part of this amazing series once again,” Leguizamo stated.

Each of the four comedy venues will host a new and fresh line-up of Latino comics each week in order to provide audiences with a hilarious and entertaining show. Similar to the comedy of Leguizamo, all of the shows will be performed in English with culturally-relevant material with just a touch of Spanish.

“This is the 4th year that Jack Daniels puts on the funniest Latino comedy series in NYC. We’re proud to present this year’s Latino Comedy Series with some new comics as well as some old favorites,” says Patricia Vasconcelos, Atlantic Division Hispanic Marketing for Brown-Forman, Inc., the distributor of Jack Daniel’s.
