UnivisionMusica.com launches.

Univision Interactive Media, Inc. announced the launch of its new music site, Música (www.UnivisionMusica.com). With more exclusive content, all-access to favorite artists and unique tools, the new site will offer passionate Hispanic music fans a seamless experience to engage with relevant and exclusive content across online and mobile.

“Music is an integral part of the fabric of the Hispanic community, and with 69 percent of Univision.com users telling us that ‘music is an important part of my life,’ it is clear that this is a huge passion point for our audience in particular,” said Kevin Conroy, president, Univision Interactive Media, Inc. “Our new interactive offerings and exclusive music content – like our new, originally produced intimate music series – will provide a great experience that will engage our online and mobile audience more than ever before.”

The Música site features hundreds of artist pages and the latest releases across genres. Accessible online now and shortly on mobile, the new site includes more exclusive photos, plus, a song lyrics tool that allows users to search over 145,000 songs from major music publishers and hundreds of prominent independent publishers, including some Spanish-language songs not found anywhere else. The site also features a great viewing experience for full length music videos. A huge library of videos is available from the past and present across all genres. The site also gives fans the ability to go “On the Road” with videos and photos of artist tours; a trivia section that tests fan knowledge of top artists; over 200 artist forums that engage the music community on a daily basis; and access to listen to more than 40 Univision Radio stations.

Also launching as part of the new Música site is Univision In Studio (www.UnivisionInStudio.com), a new intimate music series featuring sessions with top artists and up-and-coming performers. Each music session will feature several songs and a fan question and answer session. The series kicks off Thursday, October 7th with a powerful performance by Latin urban music superstar Daddy Yankee.

The exclusive music sessions will be available on demand for fans to watch over and over again. Users will have access to behind-the-scenes videos and photos from the session, artist interviews, bios and articles, plus vote for their favorite song of the session.

Upcoming Univision In Studio performances will feature the Prince of Salsa, Luis Enrique and Prince Royce, who’s been at the top of the charts for the last two months with his hit “Stand by Me.”
