Chivas Regal Joins The After Dark World.

The Chivas Showcase DJ Live Tour will feature performances, on a mobile stage, by the country’s hottest Latin DJs. The launching took place during a news media event and dinner at the House of Blues in Hollywood.

The Chivas Showcase DJ Live Tour is a mobile interactive DJ party bringing the look, feel, music, interaction and atmosphere of a “club” to audiences during live performances that took place throughout Los Angeles April 25-29. Local market DJs joined these creative and expressive trendsetters, leaders in their field, engaging in a competition of sounds.

The mobile nightclub brought party to the neighborhood in the form of a techno truck featuring LED screens with read-out lights displaying program information and schedules of locations, lighting effects, DJ booth, Chivas CAM and TV monitors.

The tour also includes two professionally trained dancers who have performed in MTV videos, Broadway shows, TV commercials and various top dance productions. Maria Torres, outstanding Latina Broadway performer and choreographer whose TV and theatre credits include a Tony Award nomination for Swing, the Broadway musical and the choreography for singer Enrique Iglesias’ Bailamos video, has created a choreography for the Chivas Showcase DJ Live Tour with moves that add excitement and color, giving it the overall look and feel of a nightclub.

The tour which has already been to Miami and Houston will continue with performances in Chicago and New York through the end of June. DJ Dino Latino as Chivas Ambassador on the mobile stage will generate enthusiasm and the Chivas brand message “When You Know.” He is nationally known in his field, performing in clubs in the U.S. and abroad. He has released multiple recordings achieving radio and club play. His format is Latin House/Club music which appeal to both Latin and general market audiences.
