McDonald’s Noche de Carnaval, a star-studded, three-hour spectacular event that brings together the best Hispanic talent from Latin America, officially kicks-off the 19th annual Carnaval Miami festivities on Saturday, March 3 at the American Airlines Arena in downtown Miami. The event featured popular international and renowned recording artists Pedro Fernandez, Paulina Rubio, Ilegales, Jerry Rivera, Azul Azul, El General, Sparx, Puerto Rican Power, Juanes, OV 7 among other exciting surprises. This year’s masters of ceremonies were Julio Sabala, international comedian; Karla Martínez from Univision’s “Control” and comedians, Huarachin Huarachon. The King of Carnaval, Elvis Crespo, will close the evening with a spectacular grand finale.

“McDonald’s Noche de Carnaval is one of the hottest nationally televised concerts in the nation, featuring the best Hispanic talent performing all on one stage,” says Marta Gerdes, McDonald’s senior director of Marketing USA. “We are especially delighted to be featuring the national debut performance of Diestra, the group from Atlanta who took the grand prize in our national McDonald’s ‘Best of Latin Music’ talent contest for upcoming aspiring singers,” added Gerdes. “We are proud to be sharing this special evening with our customers, as we salute our rich Hispanic musical heritage.”
