Census: Hispanics Surpass African-Americans In The USA.

The Commerce Department’s Census Bureau released estimates as of July 1, 2001, of the nation’s population by age, sex, race and Hispanic origin. They are the first such estimates released by the Census Bureau since Census 2000.

The tables include five-year age groups (to 100 and over) and median age by sex, the distribution of each racial group by broad age categories and the number of people of a specific race or of two or more races.
