Maria Rivera – Hispanic Data Collection Manager @ Simmons Market Research.

Simmons Market Research Bureau today announced the appointment of Maria Rivera to the newly-created position of Hispanic Data Collection Manager. Rivera joins the company from ADcom Information Services, where she has served since 1998 as Survey Research Coordinator. In addition to her experience with ADcom, Rivera spent over five years overseeing Scarborough Research quality control and bilingual project management at the VNU Operations Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Simmons EVP/Operations Susan Sanford stated, “The consolidation of the Simmons National Consumer and National Hispanic Studies in 2003 has created the need for a fully-dedicated bilingual Hispanic Data Collection Manager, whose mission is to assure maintenance of Simmons’ high standards of quality in the new data collection environment. Maria Rivera’s considerable experience in project and quality control management, as well as her hands-on management of a sizeable central calling facility provide unique qualifications for this position. Maria Rivera is an important addition to our team, and we’re delighted to have her on board.”

Rivera added, “Simmons is an exciting place to be in 2002 and beyond. The company’s commitment to the Hispanic market is enormous. Simmons already provides extensive and high quality media, product and brand tracking within American households through its separate National Consumer and National Hispanic Studies. Combining these studies into a single consolidated database will, in my opinion, provide the most powerful single-source consumer database ever offered to advertisers, agencies and media. I’m proud to be a part of the team that will be bringing this great new product to fruition.”
