Azteca America Incorporated announced that it has received final approval from the Federal Communications Commission for the construction of KIDN-TV/Channel 54, a full-power analog television station that secures Azteca America's entry into Los Angeles, the number one Hispanic market in the U.S.

"We look forward to the opportunity to serve the Hispanic population of Los Angeles with the addition of KIDN as Azteca America's flagship station," said Harry J. Pappas, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Azteca America.
