Device fragmentation is a tenacious problem for content providers and advertisers. Telemundo Media and zeebox announced a partnership encompassing the network’s second screen initiative to date, kicking off with the 2013 “Latin Billboard Awards Presented by State Farm” on Thursday, April 25, at 7pm ET/6pm CT.

As the percent of Hispanics who use mobile devices continues to climb, even more impressive is Internet radio’s reach with the growing Hispanic market. Findings from a top ten market study reveal that 32.7% of all Hispanics have logged on in the past month to an Internet radio website such as Pandora Radio, iHeartRadio, Radio.com or Slacker.com. The figure represents 4.2 million Hispanic Internet radio listeners in the top ten markets.

The benefits of shopping via digital channels—convenience, low prices and the ability to browse vast inventories—has brought a fast-growing number of people into the ecommerce marketplace. And women, often the chief shoppers of the household, are at the forefront of this transition.
