ESPN and ESPN Deportes kick off the month-long celebration with One Nacion: ESPN Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Hispanic Heritage Month, a show centered around the countdown of the top 10 most influential Hispanic athletes of all times.

  NBCUniversal announced today that Cesar Conde will join the company as an Executive Vice President reporting to Steve Burke, Chief Executive Officer, NBCUniversal.  Conde comes to NBCUniversal from Univision, where he served as President since 2009.   

ZGS Communications announced that Luis Hernández has been named Vice President and General Manager of KVDA Telemundo San Antonio.

Telemundo Media announced  that Mexican journalist Edgardo del Villar will join the Noticias Telemundo team. Edgardo del Villar will serve as a correspondent and fill-in presenter for a number of the Hispanic network’s programs, including “Un Nuevo Día,” “Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste” and “Noticiero Telemundo.” 

Telemundo Media celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with coverage and special events on all its platforms, including programming, digital and local stations thoughrough the United States starting this Sunday, September 15. As part of the festivities, the U.S. Hispanic network will air “Viva México: El Grito” a live special this Sunday at 11:58pm/10:58c, as well as a block of classic movies prior to this traditional event. Additionally, Deportes Telemundo will have ”Futbol Americano: Celebrando el Mes de la Herencia Hispana,” a special dedicated to Hispanic NFL players. Telemundo Station Group is celebrating "Fiestas Patrias" by participating in a series of events highlighting the independence of Mexico and various Latin American countries.

 “Hecho en America” celebrates and allows the inspiring journey of Latinos achieving the American Dream to be told by those changing it. 

Discovery en Español celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month by showcasing the spirit of achievement and determination shared by Hispanics who immigrate to the United States in search of a better future.

To celebrate Rafael Nadal’s US Open victory, ESPN debuted its latest addition to the award-winning “This is SportsCenter”  franchise with a spot that features the Spanish champion. 

Grupo ¡HOLA! has partnered with ATRESMEDIA TELEVISION to launch ¡HOLA! TV in the coming weeks throughout Latin America and the U.S.

Making its debut on LATV is the new magazine show Latino TV, hosted by music journalist Giselle Ugarte. Latino TV “lives life with an accent” with exclusive profiles and interviews featuring some of the biggest celebrities, music stars, athletes, and leaders in the American Latino community.

First week of “Un Nuevo Dia’s” new season will feature the biggest stars, including Lupillo Rivera, Horóscopos de Durango, Roberto Tapia, La Arrolladora Banda el Limón, along with renowned actresses Ximena Duque, Aylin Mujica and Catherine Siachoque, among other celebrities.

mun2’s bounty-hunter reality series “Fugitivos de la Ley: Los Angeles” is back this fall with new action-packed episodes starting Sundays at 8pm ET/7C.

Univision Deportes announced a partnership with Kingsford Charcoal to extend the grilling season.

In September, Utilísima brings viewers the art of making pizzas with the series premiere of “PIZZA A LA DONATO” featuring Chef Donato Di Santis. Utilísima will also air the fourth season of “TIENDA DE DISEÑO” hosted by Maggie Hegyi, and special programming to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
