MundoFox to premiere ‘Comando Elite.’

MundoFox announced the premiere of “Comando Élite,” a new original action-drama based on the true story of a team of secret agents that captured and brought to justice some of Colombia’s most powerful and feared criminals. “Comando Élite” will premiere in the United States on Monday, June 24 and will air on MundoFox Monday through Friday at 9PM/8C.
 
Based on the acclaimed book Objetivo 4 by journalist German Castro Caycedo, “Comando Élite” is the story of the relentless secret police force whose actions marked a turning point in Colombia’s history for successfully locating and bringing into custody some of the country’s most notorious criminals such as “Mono Jojoy,” “El Paisa,” “Don Mario,” and “Martin Sombra.” This new series captures an emotional journey as these agents sacrifice their personal lives for the greater good of their country. Renowned actors Carolina Acevedo and Salvador del Solar portray Carolina and Ignacio, the two central agents whose incredible perseverance, tenacity, and bravery ultimately restored hope in a nation tainted by years of crime and corruption.
