A stellar cast joins Telemundo’s ‘Dama y Obrero’.

Telemundo Studios announced the stellar cast joining the production of its new telenovela, “Dama y Obrero,” starring Ana Layevska, José Luis Reséndez and Fabián Ríos. This beautiful and moving story of two people whose love overcomes the pressure of social rejection features the return of Felicia Mercado as Estela, Shalim Ortiz as Jose Manuel, Sofía Lama as Mireya and Tina Romero as Alfonsina. Joining them on screen are many other well-known names, including Leonardo Daniel, Mónica Sánchez-Navarro, Ricardo Dalmacci, Lilian Tapia, Christina Dieckmann, Carolina Ayala, Oscar Priego y Alex Ruiz.

“Dama y Obrero” tells the story of Ignacia (Ana Layevska), a young engineer from Beverly Hills who works at a construction company in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, Tomás (Fabián Ríos). After the two argue, Ignacia leaves the city and meets Pedro (José Luis Resendez), an apparently wealthy man who helps her forget her problems and with whom she begins a romance. Along the way the two discover that despite the many obstacles conspiring to keep them apart, their love has the power to endure beyond all prejudices and social differences.
