April 10, 2013
Miami’s AMGW Agency, Brazil’s Unlike and Mexico’s UniMedios are merging to operate as one international media planning and public relations agency in New York and Latin America. The three agencies will represent a combined billing of over $80 Million USD.
The alliance will allow the agencies to combine their strengths and offer a multitude of digital, marketing, public relations and media services.
“We’re now positioned to compete with every big alphabet agency within North America and throughout Latin America,” said Mr. Edward de Valle II, Global CEO of the newly formed alliance. “With this agreement, we are also watching our clients bottom-line by streamlining their resources thanks to a complete upgrade to our overall office infrastructures in Miami, New York and Latin America. This will allow clients to access all of our offices and without having to worry about losing strategy market by market.”
“This marks a really important step for the Brazilian advertising industry. Now, our country has the capability to compete in the United States,” said Mr. Roberto Amarante, president, Unlike.
“By formally joining forces, we strengthen our services for clients who want strong pan-regional positioning in Miami, Mexico and Brazil, as well as New York and other markets in the Americas,” said Mr. Mauricio Acuna, president UniMedios.
This alliance allows the three agencies to share in best practices and increase efficiencies. By combining associate contributions, financial strengths in media placements and services the agencies are able to better service their clients throughout the world. The three agencies will continue to operate under their respective names, but with a combined signature logo (3a).
