Maggiore-Escribano promoted to SVP – Integrated Marketing Solutions at Telemundo Media.

Christine Maggiore-Escribano has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Integrated Marketing Solutions, Telemundo Media. Escribano joined Telemundo Media as Vice President of Integrated Marketing Solutions in 2009. She will be based in New York and report to Jacqueline Hernandez, Chief Operating Officer and Mike Rosen, Executive Vice President of Ad Sales and Integrated Marketing, Telemundo Media.

Escribano has launched several high profile, innovative marketing initiatives including, Club de Noverelas, the network’s official telenovela fan club, in partnership with L’Oreal USA, the first-ever multi-brand program for both companies in its scope and scale. She also spearheaded “Mia Mundo,” the first-ever bilingual branded-entertainment crossover series, which integrated Chevrolet and Verizon Wireless products and starred Bravo Media stars Jenni Pulos (“Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis”) and Gretchen Rossi (“The Real Housewives of Orange County”), Jacqueline Marquez and novela actors Jose Guillermo Cortines, Sofia Lama Stamatiades, Melvin Cabrera, Monze Martinez and Martha Velasco.

In this role, Escribano will lead the marketing and network sales teams in maximizing integrated marketing solutions to drive revenue across the organization. She will oversee the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives for clients across Telemundo Media assets, which consists of the Telemundo Network, Digital and mun2. Her responsibilities will also include growing Branded Entertainment strategies for deals in the Upfront, increasing Hispanic leadership within NBCU initiatives, developing Branded Entertainment for Telemundo’s wide portfolio of digital properties and infusing research studies and consumer insights into integrated marketing solutions.

With over seventeen years of marketing experience, Escribano joined Telemundo from Home & Garden Group, Readers Digest Association. As the associate publisher, Marketing, Escribano handled the brand development and marketing for six of the Home & Garden brands. She was responsible for building corporate branding and marketing structure, handling partnership development, and implementing digital sales and marketing strategy.

Prior to Home & Garden Group, Escribano was the brand director for People en Español magazine and PeopleEnEspanol.com, where she oversaw brand development, integrated and digital marketing, shows and events, mobile and online content creation and research initiatives for both properties. Earlier in her career, Escribano was director, Sales Development at People magazine, Sponsor Integration director at Real Simple, held various posts at TEEN People and prior to her work in media she held posts at The Media Edge and McCann Erickson advertising agencies.
