New Orleans Hornets launch Spanish Website.

The New Orleans Hornets announced the launch of Hornets.com/espanol, a Spanish website that will serve as the official source of Hornets coverage for the Spanish community. The site will include content and coverage of the Hornets, including highlighting the performances of Gustavo Ayón and Greivis Vasquez.

In order to further connect with the Hornets growing Hispanic fan base, the new site will include news articles, game recaps, feature stories and team information in Spanish. Emilio Peralta, play-by-play announcer on the Hornets Spanish flagship radio station, La Raza 830 AM, will host video features and serve as the primary writer for Hornets.com/espanol.

“We are excited about growing out fan base into the Hispanic community with the recent acquisitions of Gustavo Ayón and Greivis Vasquez,” said Hornets President Hugh Weber. “The launch of a Spanish website allows us to further engage our Hispanic fans in Hornets basketball and give them the opportunity to be engaged with Gustavo and Greivis careers.”
