December 19, 2011
Allison+Partners announced the launch of its Hispanic practice, Nuestra Voz, and the hiring of Carolina Guana as Multicultural Market Group Account Director. In her new role Guana will support agency clients, lead the growth of the practice and develop ways to integrate Hispanic outreach into Allison+Partners’ products and services.
“Our commitment to innovation means we’re continuously anticipating and responding to cultural shifts,” said Andy Hardie-Brown, co-founder and COO of Allison+Partners. “Nuestra Voz will give our clients new reach and complement the agency’s international development initiatives.”
“I was attracted to Allison+Partners because the company recognizes the importance of the Hispanic and multicultural market,” said Guana. “I was also impressed by the agency’s breadth and knowledge of multicultural public relations and innovative communications practices.”
Prior to Allison+Partners, Guana was employed by a Hispanic advertising and PR firm where she worked with APS, St. Joseph’s Hospital, SCAN Health Plan, Bristol-Myers Squibb and CALA Alliance, providing Hispanic community outreach, public and media relations strategies. She also strengthened partnerships with organizations such as the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Chicanos Por La Causa, Valle del Sol, Cesar Chavez Foundation and Friendly House, among others.
