Telemundo’s Jorge Hildalgo honored by World Boxing Organization.

Jorge Hildalgo – Sr Executive VP of Telemundo Sports was recognized by the World Boxing Organization for his successful 30 year career and ongoing commitment to the sport of boxing at the organization’s 24th annual conference, held last night at the Ritz Carlton in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico.

“The world of boxing has received such incredible support from Jorge and Telemundo,” said Francisco Valcarcel, President of the World Boxing Organization. “Boxing fans have no idea how much we all owe to Telemundo. Thanks to the work of Jorge and Telemundo, we are able to develop fighters who will make the ‘elite’ in the near future. For the support and commitment they lend to boxing, we present this award to them.”

“On behalf of Deportes Telemundo, I am proud to receive this award from the World Boxing Organization and will once again pledge our commitment to maintain the tradition of the noble sport of boxing,” said Hidalgo.
