Flores joins National Latino Broadcasting

National Latino Broadcasting, LLC (NLB) announced that it has signed Frank Flores as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing effective immediately.

Flores has over 30 years’ experience in the broadcast industry, half of which was invested in the Hispanic Market. He worked with CBS Radio for nearly twenty five years and then joined SBS where he eventually was named Chief Revenue Officer overseeing the entire radio division for the company. Over the years, he held various sales management positions at WXRK (CBS) where he was responsible in large part for the revenue generated by the internationally famous Howard Stern Show.

In April, NLB was selected by Sirius XM to lease two channels on a long-term basis to air on each of the Sirius and XM satellite radio platforms specializing in providing programming that targets the Hispanic market. In May, the announcement was made that it had signed media icon Cristina Saralegui to an exclusive contract, and planned to launch the Cristina Channel as part of their multi-channel deal with Sirius XM Radio. In the upcoming weeks, NLB will announce the diverse and lively programming line-up for the Cristina Channel as well as its other channels.
“I feel incredibly fortunate to be joining NLB in this exciting new venture. We will bring a fresh new approach to advertisers who wish to taste the rich bounty that the Hispanic marketplace has to offer,” said Flores. “Our channels will give advertisers a unique new way of reaching the bicultural and bilingual Hispanic, and I am proud to have been given the opportunity to be part of this movement.”

Nelson Albareda, President and CEO of NLB added, “I am honored to welcome Frank to the NLB Senior Management team. His years of both general market media experience and especially his knowledge of the Hispanic market will allow us to present advertisers, currently and in the future, with unprecedented opportunities through diverse media platforms created by NLB.”
