Casanova Pendrill retains the California Lottery.

The California Lottery Commission awarded the Hispanic Market Advertising Services contract to Casanova Pendrill (CP). This comes after a seven-month review that included several agencies in the first stage which was then narrowed to three finalists.

“We are deeply honored and thrilled to have been reappointed as the California Lottery Hispanic Market agency”, said Ingrid Otero-Smart, President and CEO of Casanova Pendrill. “We have developed some of our best work for the Lottery over the past few years, yet went into the review with the objective of showing our Client a “new” agency. The team worked so hard at developing a fresh and strategic sound program and all that work paid off. We can’t wait to get started and implement the new thinking and ideas”, concluded Ms. Otero-Smart.

“ Casanova showed us that they get the Lottery, and surprised us with some of the new thinking”, said Michael Brennan, California Lottery Deputy Director of Sales & Marketing. “This was not an easy decision, and we are happy to continue to develop the strong partnership we have in place today”, said Mr. Brennan.

The new contract officially starts on January 1, 2012 and is for a five-year term.
