Telefutura premiers Correo de Inocentes.

TeleFutura announced the series premiere of “Correo de Inocentes,” the story of a mother’s unconditional love and the life-threatening sacrifices made to save her child’s life. Presenting the highly anticipated return of renowned Colombian actress Margarita Rosa de Francisco in her first leading role in a dramatic novela production since 2007, “Correo de Inocentes” tells the story of Pilar Carraso, a selfless and resilient woman who would give it all up to save her daughter’s life – even if it means risking her own life and freedom.
 
Like so many other mothers and women, Pilar is faced with one of the most trying challenges – that of self-sacrifice to save the ones we love.  When her daughter Adelaida becomes gravely ill, Pilar seeks help from the girl’s biological father only to be turned away by his malicious mother. In a desperate attempt to obtain the medical attention her daughter so desperately needs, Pilar agrees to smuggle illicit drugs outside of the country as a drug mule. But when things go terribly wrong, she is forced to turn herself in to the authorities to save another young woman’s life, resulting in years of imprisonment and the unraveling of a long quest for justice.
