Davis named VP Sales at Univision Radio.

Univision Communications Inc. announced the appointment of Lee Davis to the position of executive vice president of Sales for Univision Radio. Davis will oversee all advertising sales for Univision Local Media’s 70 radio stations in major U.S. Hispanic markets and Puerto Rico. Based in New York, he will report to David Lawenda, president, Univision Ad Sales and Marketing and to Jose Valle, president of Univision Radio.

“Lee’s experience, passion for radio and commitment to excellence and innovation will help us foster stronger partnerships with our advertising partners and build on the unparalleled connection we have with our listeners,” said Lawenda.

Davis has spent the bulk of his career at CBS Radio, initially at America’s first all sports radio station, WFAN, and most recently at the legendary 1010 WINS. While general sales manager at CBS Radio’s highest-billing all news radio station from 2009 to 2011, he led its sales organization to be among the top ranked revenue producers in America, with oversight of all of the station’s revenue platforms.
