Austin’s Univision 62 presents 7th Premios Texas.

KAKW Univision 62 announced its seventh annual “Premios Texas” (Texas Awards), an Austin based Latin music awards celebration showcasing some of the most recognized artists in the industry. The gala event will take place Thursday, August 11 at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin, Texas.

“Premios Texas®” bestows awards annually to bands and artists from various Latin music genres including Pop, Tejano, Regional Mexican, Rock and Urban as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award given to a performer who has made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to Latin music.
