CNN en Español to broadcast Voto Latino 2012.

On June 6, the 2012 Presidential election dispute begins and CNN en Español will broadcast a special coverage called Voto Latino 2012 (Hispanic Vote 2012), led by anchor Juan Carlos López and the political team of Directo USA from Washington. This coverage will take viewers through the process of what is anticipated will be the most expensive Presidential election in history with more than 20 million voters, and in which the Hispanic community will play a key role in the outcome.

Juan Carlos López and the political team of CNN en Español will travel throughout the United States to get to know the opinions and views of primary voters and the national parties’ conventions.  In addition, CNN en Español reporter Bianca Pitaluga will discuss the expectations of American youth in several key issues of this election. On the other hand, reporter Gustavo Valdez will show first-hand the impact of the Hispanic voter community in the United States by travelling throughout the nation’s states in order to capture the general feeling of voters.

This special coverage will concentrate on the main needs of the US-Hispanic community and their views on relevant issues to be addressed for 2012, including: employment, economy, health, immigration, national security and education, among other topics.

Starting Monday, June 6, segments from this coverage will air on different programs such as Café CNN, NotiMujer, and Panorama Mundial, during the candidate debates, national political conventions, and primaries.
