Monday, May 9th through Thursday, May 12th, 2011 at 9pm (ET/PT) Maria Montessori is a four-part miniseries capturing the life of Maria Montessori, the humanitarian, physician and educator who lived in turn-of-the-20th-century Rome. As the first female student at her medical school, the professors mocked her. As an established doctor and educator, her colleagues doubted her every step. Later abandoned by her lover and stripped of her only child, Maria experiences another setback still — the Italian Fascist regime that sought to destroy her life’s work.

Monday, May 16th through Thursday, May 19th, 2011 at 9pm (ET/PT) David Copperfield is the incredible adaptation of 19th century English novelist Charles Dickens classic novel. It is the timeless tale of young orphan David, who grows up and manages to study law at a London University. There, he experiences the joys of falling in love, but also the deceitfulness of shady characters.

Monday, May 23th through Thursday, May 26th, 2011 at 9pm (ET/PT) House of Harmony (Memorias de Harmony) is the award winning film adaptation of Barbara Wood’s novel, “Perfect Harmony.” The story follows the love affair of a young Asian woman and a married American industrialist in 1920s Singapore. The woman gives birth to a child, Harmony, but the question remains as to whether the lovers’ secret relationship will blossom—or wilt—in the public eye. Director Marco Serafini brings this cross cultural love story to life beautifully on screen and cinematographer Martinetti Gaetano magically captures the lush wonder of early 20th century Singapore.

Monday, May 30th through Thursday, June 2nd, 2011 at 9pm (ET/PT) Serrallonga is a riveting action-adventure miniseries that describes the daring exploits and amorous conquests of 17th century Catalonian, Joan Sala i Ferrer, alias Serrallonga, who became a legend in his own time.
