Telemundo hosts ‘Digital Influencers Event’.

Telemundo Communications Group announced it will be hosting its first ever “Digital Influencers Event” on Wednesday, April 27th and extending into Thursday, April 28th, at Telemundo Studios in Miami, Florida.
“The launch of Social@Telemundo provides a new way to connect our audience and advertisers with social media, and our Digital Influencers Event is the perfect way to kickoff this very exciting initiative,” said Peter Blacker, Executive Vice President, Digital Media and Emerging Business. “For the first time, influential bloggers will gain intimate access to Telemundo Studios, the home of original programming for the full spectrum of U.S. Hispanics, bridging television with social interactivity.”
The influential bloggers attending the “Digital Influencers Event” will spend the first day meeting with Telemundo executives including Blacker, Don Browne, President, Telemundo and Borja Perez, Vice President, Digital Media and Integrated Solutions, who leads Social@Telemundo, as well as others. They will also attend a rehearsal for the upcoming 2011 “The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm”, have lunch with Telemundo talent and conclude the day with a VIP party for Telemundo Studios produced “RPM Miami”, to air on mun2.
Day two of the event will include a studio tour for the bloggers, a red carpet experience at “The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm” and seats to the live show. Over the two days, the bloggers will have the opportunity to tweet and blog to the audiences about the various sessions taking place.
