impreMedia’s ‘Mujeres Destacadas/Exceptional Women’ Awards.

impreMedia announced their continued tradition of honoring remarkable Latinas in key cities with its signature editorial series and awards luncheon, Mujeres Destacadas/Exceptional Women.  To be held in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Orlando in celebration of International Women’s History Month, impreMedia will produce a month-long editorial series that profiles extraordinary women who are making outstanding contributions in the fields of community leadership, arts & culture, education, health advocacy, business, technology, communications/media, public service and lifetime achievement.
 
“Each of these remarkable women is paving the way for future generations of Latina women,” stated Monica Lozano, CEO of impreMedia. “Mujeres Destacadas  not only celebrates the contributions and achievements of these women but also showcases their great strength and tenacity that will inspire other Latinas to become tomorrow’s leaders, business owners and advocates for our communities.”
 
Each city hosts an awards luncheon and the awards are announced and promoted nationally across impreMedia’s multi-media platforms.  Coverage of the events, honorees and their profiles, are highlighted online throughout the month. A special feature showcasing all honorees is published at the conclusion of the signature editorial series.
 
In addition to recognizing influential Latinas, an exclusive scholarship is awarded to young Latinas in New York and Chicago to support their leadership development. They not only attend the event as recipients but are also exposed to accomplished Hispanic women and hear their success stories directly.
