Annabelle Candy Company looks to California Latinos for Continued Growth.

Annabelle Candy Company, makers of the beloved Rocky Road, BIG HUNK, Abba-Zaba, LOOK, and U-NO candy bars is marking its 60 years of business and 25 years of distribution in the Mexican market with a new sales initiative to reach Mexican and Mexican American communities in the U.S. The company has sold over three million candy bars in Mexico in the past five years alone and continues to experience growth there averaging six percent annually.
Annabelle’s signed agreements with both a broker distributor and a Latino public relations firm, Mosaico Public Relations, to help ease the transition to this market.
“We are translating our success and brand recognition in Mexico to the California Latino market by securing distribution agreements with California Latino supermarkets,” said Annabelle President Susan Karl. “The Latino consumer is important to our continued growth. We believe that our experience in Mexico and our products’ taste profile which has won over the Mexican consumer can help us grow our business in California Latino communities.”
