Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America, announced today the sponsor lineup for the fifth season of its hit reality show “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty). AT&T, Colgate Total toothpaste, Disney Parks, jcpenney, Maybelline New York and Garnier, and SUBWAY Restaurants will be integrated throughout the program’s TV and online platforms. Premiering on Sunday, March 6, 2011, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (NBL) will air on Sundays at 8pm ET/PT, 7pm CT on the Univision Television Network and will be hosted by beloved Univision personality Giselle Blondet, who will also serve as a mentor to the participants.

AT&T, returning for the fifth season, will have contestants face another exciting AT&T challenge featuring some of the trendiest phones on the market. AT&T customers will be able text in their vote for their favorites each week. In addition, AT&T is sponsoring an exclusive area within the www.NuestraBellezaLatina.com online site, including a weekly poll, and an online and mobile sweeps for users to win a VIP trip to the “Nuestra Belleza Latina” finale. AT&T also has on deck sponsorship of the mobile site and will host a “Who did it best” custom section on mobile, as well as sponsorship of NBL on demand video.
 
Colgate Total toothpaste, returning for the second year, will feature a branded challenge to emphasize the importance of a healthy smile. Participants in this challenge will also be given the opportunity to win $10,000. Further, the winner of this year’s “Nuestra Belleza Latina” will receive a $40,000 prize on behalf of Colgate Total®. To connect with viewers, Colgate Total® will be hosting an online sweepstakes via www.NuestraBellezaLatina.com. Fans will be invited to vote for the contestants they feel have the “best smile” for a chance to win a VIP trip to the season finale.
 
Disney Parks, in its second year as NBL sponsor, has again provided the opportunity for the contestants to visit Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida and create many heartfelt moments on camera. Highlights of their visit, including special memories that will last a lifetime, will be incorporated into the show.
 
jcpenney, a sponsor for five consecutive seasons, will have a branded feature recapping the contestants’ activities for the week and provide participants with an opportunity to win $10,000 in a branded integrated challenge. Moreover, in collaboration with Univision, jcpenney will provide the winner a one-year spokesperson contract. The winner will also receive $40,000 cash from jcpenney.
 
On the interactive side, jcpenney will once again sponsor a customized online brand extension on www.NuestraBellezaLatina.com. This interactive destination will incorporate 360 degree views of the 2010 “Nuestra Belleza Latina” winner Ana Patricia Gonzalez modeling jcpenney’s latest spring trends, with up to a dozen different looks available to users. The virtual experience will also incorporate the twelve 2011 finalists introducing jcpenney apparel and accessories throughout the season. As part of an extended offering, the site will feature a social media tool, which allows users to share different looks on various social media sites. In addition, jcpenney will be sponsoring an online sweepstakes to win a grand prize trip for two to the “Nuestra Belleza Latina” finale and $500 cash, plus an additional $500 in gift cards from the store.
 
Returning for the fifth year, Maybelline New York and Garnier will have multiple integrated features while Maybelline will have a branded challenge and a branded lesson for the contestants. The brands will be the exclusive sponsors of the “Consejos de Belleza“ (Beauty Tips) section on www.NuestraBellezaLatina.com, which includes beauty tips, Maybelline and Garnier products that the contestants will be using, and an area to ask questions of the contestants themselves. Maybelline New York and Garnier are also sponsoring an online and mobile sweeps, “Tus pasos a la Belleza” that will provide the winner with travel to meet the newly crowned Nuestra Belleza Latina as well as receive a makeover.
 
SUBWAY Restaurants, returning for the second year, will be organically integrated throughout the show, highlighting the importance of eating healthier and leading an active lifestyle. SUBWAY® Restaurants will test the contestants’ physical fitness and their nutrition IQs by hosting a “Breakfast Workout Show” challenge incorporated into the program. Contestants will perform as hosts of this “show” (challenge), which will combine the finer aspects of cooking shows and workout videos. The winner of the challenge will take home a $10,000 cash prize.
