Flaster named Sr. VP Planning, Strategy & Business Operations at Telemundo Ad Sales.

Telemundo announced that Lee Flaster has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Planning, Strategy & Business Operations for Telemundo Ad Sales. Flaster will report to Jacqueline Hernández, Chief Operating Officer, Telemundo and Ed Swindler, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Ad Sales for NBC Universal.

In this new role, Flaster will partner with the various business units to develop business strategies and partnerships focused on revenue growth opportunities for the networks, including Telemundo, Telemundo stations, mun2, and Telemundo Digital.

Additionally, Flaster will continue to support Network Sales and Marketing, Telemundo and the Telemundo Ad Sales team by providing leadership for strategic planning, pricing and inventory management.

Flaster has been the Vice President, Pricing, Planning & Strategy for Telemundo for the past three years. Previously, he served as Director, Pricing, Planning & Operations, MSNBC. Flaster joined NBCU in 1999 within the NBC Cable group and was soon promoted to Director, Sales Operations & Digitization for NBC TV Network. He began his career in Management Consulting with A.T. Kearney.

In addition, the network announced that Meara Abramson is joining the team as the Director of Pricing & Planning, Telemundo. In this role, Abramson will take all functional and leadership responsibility for the Pricing & Planning team at Telemundo. She will report directly to Flaster, as well as into Telemundo Network sales and Swindler.

Abramson comes from NBCU Television Distribution (Syndication), where she was the Director of Pricing, Planning, and Finance for Syndication Ad Sales. She started her career in the Financial Management Program at GE Capital and joined NBCU in 2004 as a member of the Cable Ad Sales Pricing and Finance team. Before joining the TV Distribution group, Abramson was the Manager of Pricing and Planning for MSNBC.
