Sí TV to launch in HD.

Sí TV announced that it will launch an HD version of the network on November 7.
“Our audience demands the highest quality viewing experience available, and offering our viewers our programming in HD is absolutely critical,” said Michael Schwimmer, Sí TV CEO. “In fact, English-dominant, bicultural Latinos are more likely to own an HDTV set and subscribe to HDTV services than many general market segments including Spanish-dominant Latinos.*”
Coinciding with the launch of its channel in HD, SiTV will premiere its first original documentary PastPort: Cuba – The Search for Nicolita. Featuring beautiful and stunning images of Cuba and its people, this powerful journey of self-discovery follows swimwear designer Nicole Di Rocco and her family’s emotional return to Cuba, five decades after they fled the island. In this one-hour special presentation, Nicole fulfills her life long dream of traveling back to the birthplace of her parents as she searches for the perfect fashion model to embody the essence of her “1950s Cuba-inspired” swimwear collection. PastPort: Cuba – The Search for Nicolita premieres on Sunday, November 7 at 9:00PM ET/PT.
