FOX Deportes expands Team.

FOX Deportes announced the addition of a talented industry executive and promotion of one of their exemplary leaders, to its Programming and Production teams. Francisco Pazmiño joins the FOX family as the new Vice President of Programming Acquisitions, while Raul Palma assumes the role of Vice President of Production for FOX Deportes.

Pazmiño joins FOX Deportes from ESPN International where he served as the Director of Programming.  While in that role, Pazmiño was responsible for the programming strategy of the ESPN television networks in Latin America and led the negotiations and management of soccer property acquisitions on worldwide basis.  He brings an all-encompassing knowledge and understanding of Latin American and US Hispanic television markets, boasting vast production experience including live sports programming, program development, writing, editing, and post-production.

Palma, a seasoned sports producer, joined FOX in 1996 as a producer and until recently held the title of Vice President of Production for Fox Sports International.  During his career with FSI, Palma managed the production services for Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Soccer Plus, and Fox Deportes.  Palma displayed an ability to successfully analyze the network’s critical production requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, while developing innovative and cost-effective solutions.  This has led to his new role in assuming sole production decision-making responsibilities for the network.
