Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA) has selected marketvision as its agency of record to develop and launch the organization’s first marketing campaign.

“We are very pleased to be working with TOSA to help educate the community about this life-giving health-related issue,” said agency founder and CEO Yvonne “Bonnie” García. “This campaign will allow us to utilize our team’s marketing and digital expertise on a cause that can save lives.  We hope to motivate hundreds of thousands of people to register for organ donation.” 

Marketvision will develop a fully integrated, bilingual campaign to raise awareness of the importance of the organ donation registry and increase registrants in Central and South Texas.  The campaign, set to launch in October, will include research, creative, digital marketing, branding, advertising, experiential, social media and public relations. 

According to TOSA, transplant success rates increase when organs are matched between members of the same ethnicities. Hispanic consumers represent the most significant need for organ donation. While one-third of Texans are Hispanic, over 50 percent of the estimated 10,000 Texans on the United Network for Organ Sharing waiting list are Hispanic. 

“Organ donation is one of the most meaningful gifts we can give to another human being,” said TOSA CEO Patrick J. Giordano. “As the population of Central and South Texas continues to grow, the demand for organ donation does, too.  We need to put a greater emphasis on registration and that’s why we’re embarking on this new awareness endeavor.”
