GLR’s Radio Caracol in South Florida brings more ‘Efectos Secundarios’.

The new season kicks off Monday September 20th at WSUA – Radio Caracol 1260 AM with a radio offering that perfectly complements the station’s winning format that for many years has attracted thousands of radio listeners in all of South Florida.
One of the main novelties is the extension of our top rated show “Efectos Secundarios” which will now include a number of unique segments and a long list of distinguished collaborators that will surprise and further engage our audience. Starting this coming Monday, the show will air from 1 to 4 pm, Monday – Friday adding one daily hour to the broadcast. Jose Antonio Ponseti will continue to host and he will be accompanied by our talented co-hosts Eduardo Ortiz and Keyla Medina-Rosa as well as a number of local, national and international guest stars. The first hour of the show will bring the WSUA-Radio Caracol listeners a roundtable on current news, with the points of view of our multi ethnic listener base, as well as all the sports news and commentaries by experts Horacio Gioffre and Roly Martin. The following two hours of this fun variety show, will be filled with other news, debates and curiosities on current issues, entertainment, food tips, culture and much more.
Our Morning drive, from 6 to 10 am, is presented by one of Latin America’s most prestigious journalists, Julio Sánchez Cristo. He will continue to bring our listeners all the news in his unique and internationally acclaimed style. Since it started airing on WSUA 1260 AM over a year ago, the show has been consolidated as one of the top rated news/talk shows in the morning drive amongst all Hispanic listeners. The show features the latest local, national and international news that affect Hispanics, information about current issues such as immigration, health, family, education, taxes, sports or entertainment, weather and up-to-the-minute traffic, and many interviews. Listeners’ participation is also essential to the show.
“Radio Caracol Ayuda” will also continue to air from 10 to 11 in the morning. “Ayuda” is Radio Caracol’s daily show that looks to help South Florida’s Hispanic community. Experienced Yoly Cuello is the host for the show and she is surrounded by a distinguished group of experts and guests who bring the latest news and the best advice for Radio Caracol listeners to improve their daily lives.
In the afternoons, Carlos Cataño and his team also continue loyal to their listeners. “De Regreso a Casa” is an innovative three hour show that includes a wide variety of unique content: Entertainment, local news and lots of humor to cheer up listeners’ way back home. It airs Monday to Friday from 4 to 7 pm on Radio Caracol 1260 AM. The show host and director Carlos Cataño is accompanied by a team of true professionals formed by: Marisol Correa, Oneyda Anturi, Graciela Mori, Jairo Castro “Chocolate”, Eduardo Vázquez, Ernesto Barrera, Roly Martín and John Morales.
